Settlers of Catan Tournament on May 16th
Get OUT and Play! Yes, Spring has finally sprung, and we've got bocce, beanbag toss, ladderball, jarts, things that bounce, things that fly....all great ways to keep the fun going outdoors. Check out two of our new favorites: Boochie and UberDart:
Expanded Store Hours, Additional Game Night, and a Word Blur Party to Celebrate!Starting Tuesday, May 26, we're expanding our hours (see sidebar at right) and adding a Friday night game night in addition to our long-standing one on Tuesday nights. To kick things off, on Friday May 29 we're having a game night with a bit of a party atmosphere. We'll be playing a variety of light, fun games (Bohnanza anyone?), but will be featuring Word Blur, the suprisingly wonderful game of word associations. We'll be giving away copies of the game at 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm as door prizes, so stop by and join in the fun! May 23 - Worldwide D&D Day and Monster Manual 2
On a related note, in June we're going to start hosting a Living Forgotten Realms group for adults. Heading the group will be Eric (Dungeon Master and nice guy), who'll also be running some of the events for us on D&D Day. popular demand, in May we're hosting a Settlers of Catan tournament. Whether
you've been playing it for years or are relatively new to the game, this
will be a fun opportunity for a little friendly competition! 
Saturday,
May 23 is Worldwide D&D Day plus the release of Monster Manual 2, and to
celebrate we're holding D&D events throughout the day. The
schedule isn't set yet, but once the events are confirmed we'll post the
details on our online calendar. 
Age
of Steam is regarded by many as the best train game for serious gamers, and
numerous expansion maps have been produced, providing players with a lot of
variety to explore. We love train games in general but Age of
Steam in particular, and we're happy to announce that there's interest in
forming an Age of Steam group that will play in the store on a regular
